6th World Taekwondo Federation Junior World Championships: Lauren Katz represented the U.S. and in first match beat Butan due to disqualification. Then, beat Italy and lost to Turkey in Quarterfinal match in extremely controversial decision.
Tashi Sherpa represented Nepal and in first match beat Turkey with 1st Round T.K.O. Then, in 2nd match, he beat Butan and, in 3rd match, beat Great Britain. Then, he lost to Thailand in the Quarterfinal match.
High Performance Team is producing the top fighters in the World. Congratulations to Lauren and Tashi, we are all so proud of you. |

| Lauren Katz earned her spot on the Junior National Team and have joined U.S. Senior National Team Members, Eleni Koutsilianos and Simone DeVito in a training camp for National Sr. and Jr. Team members at Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. |

Congratulations! WE HAVE 2 STUDENTS FROM OUR SCHOOL on the U.S. National Team! What an amazing accomplishment. Instructor Eleni Koutsilanos (2nd consecutive year) and Simone DeVito fought their final fight in Dallas, Texas to confirm their standing as a U.S. Team Member. They will be representing the U.S. at the World Cup in Thailand this year.
Instructor Eleni Koutsilianos, Instructor Tashi Sherpa, Simone DeVito and Lauren Katz attended the U.S. Open in Dallas, Texas where 49 countries were in attendance. U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships is a Black Belt competition open to all countries and our four won GOLD. Everyone came home with the gold...another outstanding performance by our Team High Performance and Master Suh!
